Scouting Morgan State
The Bears enter Friday's game with a 1-2 overall record after three contests at the Old Dominion Tournament last weekend. Morgan State began its season with a 71-59 victory vs. Texas San Antonio, before suffering losses to ODU and Holy Cross. Senior guard Anthony Hubbard paces the squad with 15.7 points per game, just ahead of senior forward DeWayne Jackson with 14.0 per outing and junior guard Justin Black with 12.0 per game. Hubbard's 9.3 rebounds also are a team high. The Bears were picked third in the 2012-13 MEAC Preseason Poll earlier this month, with Jackson earning preseason first-team honors.

I'm planning on buying one outside around 6:30. Is this a good idea? Or should I just get one at the ticket office right now?

It's not gonna sell out. You might find one for a buck or two cheaper outside, but if not, the ticket office will have plenty

And you can probably sit in the lower level if you want . Also, the first few rows in the upper level at mid-court are great seats . Maybe not row 1 up there . I have to lean forward to see over the rail , but row 2,3,4 etc. are fine .

Wish I could be there, but I cannot. But I'll be watching on TV. Glad Coach Fogler is the color guy. I like to hear his assessments of the game and the players.

Does anyone know if students can get into games like this, without registering for tickets or paying the 'University Fee', and simply showing up with your Student Card? I have a buddy that wants to go, but he's not willing to do any of that. I figured they would let in any students if it's not very full, regardless of ticket status. Worst case scenario, I buy him a ticket for 15 bucks. He's a cheapo. I'm telling you, 15 bucks and a six pack of Budweiser in the parking lot before hand, and I've got myself a fun night. Go Cocks!

I dont know, you could try to get in by acting like the scanner just isnt working on your card. The tickets are on the Carolina Card now, not printed out.

Morgan State is a pretty awful team. We should be fine without Carrera.

I'm not convinced we have the bodies at the moment to be any better than them is my point. We have Kacinas and RJ as our 5's at 6'7 and 6'8, and at the 4 without Carrera, there's only Lakeem at 6'5. Even with Carerra, that's not terrific. Morgan State has more big bodies to throw at us, and their 7'2'' guy can hit free throws. I'm sure they suck at skilled plays, but I'm a little worried that we'll get exposed inside. We have some tough guards though. And Page will still be the best player on the floor. 5 men on the glass all night, and we'll have a good shot.

RJ has to come out and ball tonight. Kacinas I think will step up I feel that he quietly had a soild game Sunday and that might have been overshadowed by Carerra monster debut
