Personally I pay less attention to stars and more attention to has offered. If Bama, LSU, and Georgia have offered a 3 star then that kid is really 5 star IMO.

I haven't followed this young man's recruitment, but I just watched his junior highlights. Here are my $.02. Based on the video, it seems like the kid has a lot of talent. But it did also seem as though there was some shoddy tackling going on. Of course I don't know if it was just lack of execution by the defenders or something Bryant does to shake the tackler. One thing I saw that I definitely didn't like is that he seems to like bringing attention to himself after he makes a good play. It's not a major issue or something that would make me not want him in Columbia, but just a personal preference that players not do that.

Actually the reason that the Dabo situation is funny is because his policy is to pull offers from kids who visit other schools. He was just too scared to pull that on RN. We have always let kids explore and then talked to them about what they like about other schools and what we have to counter with. Spurrier has always been more of a let the kid decide and if he goes elsewhere then next guy up. Just like he is with guys already on the team.

I don't care what the so called "insiders" on this board say about our preference. There is no way he would put us in his final 3 if we weren't actively pursuing him. Also, there is no way we would turn him down. No way. We would take both. As for Jamari Smith, he might not even be a RB at the next level anyways.

I watch tape, read reports, occasionally catch a few in person, and supplement that with ratings etc. Also how they fit for our offense. If anything else, landing Bryant could be massive for recruiting in the future in the state of Florida
