i never understood putting anyone on a pedestal this season. i worry about murray in a big game, but still i think georgia/bama is a toss up.

So, a couple weeks ago, Bama was an invincible juggernaut and now bc they lost to A&M they are all of a sudden going to lose to UGA or are a toss up in a game vs UGA? LOL sorry that's just stupid. Really stupid.

Alabama was an unbeatable juggernaut when the only decent team they had played was Michigan. In Bama's two tough games, they lost one and realistically were outplayed for 95% of the other (LSU).

You can't run the ball on them, but LSU and A&M have shown that you can throw on them. UGA is as well equipped to do that as any team in the league. And I don't think Bama's pass rush is all that great.

I agree with all of your post but the bolded part. We proved that if you shut down UGA's rushing, Erin Murray will not beat you. He won't even come close.

I'd counter with two points: 1) Bama doesn't have the pass rush that Carolina or Florida have. 2) The game will be in Atlanta. Won't be like playing in Columbia or Tuscaloosa etc.

Should be an entertaining game regardless!

Good points.

Atlanta is a short drive from each of these schools. Should be close to a home game for each with the oddity of being like an away game for each while on offense. Scalpers will be making fortunes outside of the stadium.

'Bama's d-line isn't as good as our's, but they don't have to be. They have a better secondary, so they'll have that extra time to get to Murray. If that extra time gives Murray hope that something will eventually open up, then all is great for UGA...if not being able to find an open receiver during that time frustrates him, then UGA is cooked already.

Do agree that it should be an entertaining match up. I agree. I am thinking that Murray will quickly become frustrated.

That teen wolf has improved. He put up numbers last night. It is a toss up. It will come down to the mistakes. I will say I do not mind having an all SEC championship again because the powers that be tried so hard to prevent it. I also like seeing a defense.
