Thank you very much. Yeah, I was just trying to share what I saw. My first impression when I saw him was "oh, no". I saw him walk enough to know he was in pain. I've been there before with my left foot/ankle. And he being the competitive athlete that he is, I know he's got to be frustrated.

-he's a competitor - ask Tajh Boyd last year & Aaron Murray this year if they outplayed Connor Shaw?

-he's tough as nails - see Vandy game & after UAB game hit/coming back the next week against Mizzou

-oh yeah...we win games with him as starting QB (16-3 I believe)

IMO - Shaw is/always will be all-business, and will get himself ready to lead this team going up Memorial Stadium in Pickens County.

Coach Spurrier backed your story on his show. Shaw's foot is sore. He might need a little and Naproxen for comfort. Shaw is a very tough kid. He will be ready. I am sure Dylan will also take practice reps this week.

I understand the reasoning, but I somewhat disagree. You take what the defense gives you and what Clemson gives you is a horrible secondary. When you can score, you score. For example, if Clemson put all 11 guys in the box and played no pass protection at all (hypothetical), I am sure Spurrier wouldn't say well we aren't going to throw a wide open TD because we would score too fast.

I have thought all season that Shaw gives us the best chance to win, but this is one game that I think DT would do fine if he goes in the game. I think he would do just as well as he did against ECU.

If we get to 40, we win. Clemson isn't going to score 40.

ok I definitely agree that their pass coverage is garbage. We need to be balanced to drain that clock. Limiting their plays makes them frustrated. We've seen this before. But yes, we will have chances to make plays in the passing game.

This is good news. I am speculating, but I would think he would be a little less upbeat if he thought he would be out next week. It was said earlier in this thread, but Shaw LIVES for football. Shaw is the type of guy that I would bet if he had an injury that he thought was going to keep him out of the game, he wouldn't be in a gracious mood. You probably wouldn't want to get near him if that was the case.
