USM goes from 12-2 to 0-10 in one year

No reason a team should switch directions like that in two years, EJ is gone he never was head coach material, a good coordinator not a head coach.

He was 17-28 as a head coach before he was hired at Southern Miss. Now he's 17-39. Safe to say, Johnson is not a good head coach. Numbers don't lie.

What's funny was some people on here wanted EJ to be the heir apparent to the HBC prior to EJ taking the Southern Miss job. Thank God this season puts that all to rest.

You're right about that. Last season, people were clamoring to make him the head coach in waiting. Thank God we didn't do that.

Not nearly far enough as far as I'm concerned. The only thing I like about Philadelphia is Andy Reid....and I feel sorry for him with all the family issues he's had to go through.

It was not smart to ever think EJ should be HBC here...same for some other names mentioned...it will have to be a special hire.

It's hard to fathom....................I think it's safe to say that Johnson never had his players buy in. It has to more a mental and emotional disconnect with that many returning starters.
