Not sure if a clear no. 1 pick is established.

However, I think of players like Jarvis Jones, Star Lotulelei, Manti Te'o.

This could be a good year to trade down for multiple picks considering we have multiple problems and like to usually build through the draft and not through free agency.

Jarvis Jones just doesn't seem like an elite LB worthy of a top 10 pick.. seems more like a tweener in the NFL to me.

Te'o is great but a bit overhyped and would not fit our system.

Star is an intriguing prospect, but our Dline is the best in the NFL right now. Dwan Edwards, Kraken, and big Money all playing like Pro Bowlers. maybe as a replacement for Ron Edwards though.. but We need Oline help BAD and we need a stud addition in the secondary. DJ swearinger anyone?

Ill take the Giants over them.

I could see them taking Star, Luke Joeckel or Taylor Lewan.
Regarding Secondary if you're saying DJ in the first round, won't happen.
Some studs in this draft are Johnthan Banks, Eric Reid and Dee Milliner.


Also what's the deal with Smith? Does he want out?
If so a WR would be a good pick, especially of you can pair a top 5 pick for more picks and fill two needs in the first round.

Actually, stastically we have had the best Dline play since RR took over the defense...

We have much bigger problems than Dline, I hate when ppl still think that is the problem, this isn't 2011!

I never said 1st rd for DJ, Mid round would love to snag him.. we need Chris Harris back!

Banks would be an awesome get.. But the top priority HAS to be Oline, Gross will be gone soon and we need some more studs beside Kalil. Would be estactic if our top 5 pick is an OL.

Stevie will be here at least 2 more years.. we do need to find his replacement though (still miffed about no Alshon), Lafell is the perfect #2 WR, and we can't count on Gettis is come back and be a #1 WR. Murphy is fine as a #3/#4, same for Pilares.. I still believe Adams will be a nice WR once we runs routes.

Star is just the best pick available. He's going to be a star (lol) you can't just pass him up, although those two OTs could be picked there too.

And statically they have 1 or 2 more sacks than the Giants DL, but I'd take JPP over anyone the panthers have, reminds me a lot of Clowney.

Based on pressure etc, the announcers yesterday said we had the most productive DLine since RR took over. Dwan Edwards is the difference IMO, He has been our best DT since Jenkins

Why do you think this? I am not familiar with the system the Panthers run, but he seems to work well in both a 3-4 and 4-3 throughout college.

I was at the game yesterday and it sure was deflating to lose like that... AGAIN. You would think after losing like that for about the 7 or 8th time in the past year and a half that our coaches could adjust, but nooooo they cannot do it. I agree that we need to clean house. Just disheartening how we keep losing the SAME WAY all the time.
