Ford has been an excellent option for Boyd as a check-down. Who's going to cover him, Bowens or Shaq?

Not to start off with...Shaq will be keeping a close eye on Boyd to see if he will actually try to run like he did against NC Stayut....If he doesnt it will be a status quote defense like we played against Mizzuo..

I dont think we do anything different than we have all year. Ford is good, but so are all the SEC tight ends we played all year. I honestly dont think Clemson has Anything better than what we have already seen this year.

I feel their WRs are better than most we have played....Arkys WRs are close to what klempzun offers and we handled them okay....I think we see close cover on Watkins and Hopkins then kind of play a shallow zone something similar to a cover 2...

I would take Hopkins and Watkins over any WR combo nationally.

Marquis Lee and Robert Woods are easily the best WR duo in the country.

That is probably true, but I haven't watched them much.

Yea Lee & woods, then hopkins/watkins and close behind is Patterson/hunter. Possible a toss up between the last two combos.

I'm guessing we play a good amount of dime (5 plus spur) depending on the DL, one backer, and Holloman to both contain the run and get pressure. I expect some rabbit and Swearinger again at corner on a number of plays. I think Shaq and the Spur will be covering Ford, Shaq mostly. We almost have to get pressure from the front 4 alone, and I expect a lot of play action, screens, draws, zone read, and swings to try to freeze them. Don't be surprised to see Taylor drop into coverage a few times with a corner, LB, or Spur blitzing. If they zone read early, I'm hoping Bowens can plant him a couple of times. It seems to affect his play afterward.

Spy you say, I've got the man for the job.
![]() Seriously though, we don't spy a TE. We might possibly have a spy like Swearinger on Boyd, since he can run, but that's it and we'll only do that on certain downs. We've played 1 deep safety most of the year, and that allows us to move Swearinger up in the box. We don't need to change much unless our CB's start getting burned.

The UT receivers were more like what Clem has. UT had three really good ones. Clemp has two really good ones, and one decent.

We will do what Ward has wanted to do all year. Play nickel or dime with 3 corners on the field (esp now that Swearinger has moved into that role), at least one deep safety at all times (who should play extra deep this week). Try to get pressure with just 4 or 5 and make them execute 10-15 play drives to score.[/i][/size]

Why? Is he making a Krispy Kreme doughnut run during the game?

There is only one person on their offense that we have to disrupt, destroy and disarm: T. Boyd.
We get him off his game, we'll win. |

..... Will they put a spy on our TE's Cunningham, Anderson, and Adams?? I have a feeling we'll see a big game out of those three... particularly Jerrell Adams
