This may be crazy talk, but I'd like to see us go after Nick Saban. He would be the ultimate "Frank Martin" hire for football. He's on record as stating that he wants Alabama to be feared. He's won titles an established himself as a head coach. In 5-6 years he will have accomplished pretty much everything he can at Alabama. If he doesn't go back to the pros it would be an easy sell. He would have the chance to lead a winning program and do something no coach has done before: win championships at 3 SEC schools, and have a legacy equal or greater than Bryant and Spurrier.

Those 3 are very possible, Gruden more so than the other 2. Ward WILL be a HC someday soon and what the hell do you mean not follow spurrier? He is building a winning program and can hand the keys to the Benz off with out facilities ect....craziest thing you've ever said.

And let's not forget, you don't get a head college football coaching degree so you have to promote people and give them a chance at some point.
