People getting upset about this are ridiculous. It's just part of recruiting. It's okay to be a little disappointed to that we lost a good player but to have hard feelings about this kid is just getting to emotionally invested in high school kids that have never been part of the team.

Ummm, most people seem to be okay with it. They're saying good luck to him. No one is really upset the way you're putting it. Maybe a little disappointed in the coaching staff, but that's about it.

I don't believe the reason he left is because he wants to play basketball. Coach Martin has spoken to him about playing basketball. More likely of a reason for the switch is because his teammate and best friend is committed to UGA, he has visited the school four times this season, and it is an in-state program that is pretty successful.

If Coach Martin told him he wasn't interested, then somebody please inform me that that is true. I am under the impression that he was going to be given a chance to play bball.

Langley makes switch from USC to Georgia

DB Brendan Langley of Marietta, GA, one of the prize recruits in USC's 2013 recruiting class, is now one of the prize recruits in Georgia's 2013 class. Langley announced today that he is now committed to Georgia. He said he contacted USC last Thursday to inform them of the news. Langley visited Georgia four times in recent months including the past weekend. He wants to play basketball and football in college and said Georgia gives him the best opportunity for that. 'South Carolina really wasn't in to me doing that," Langley said in a video interview on ESPN.com. "I talk to (Georgia basketball) Coach Fox once a week and I relationship is pretty good." Langley's teammate and close friend Quincy Mauger is a UGA commitment and he said the two want to play together. And he cited the proximity to Athens as another reasons. Langley's decommitment leaves USC with 21 commitments in their class.

Well I'm not sure what made Lorenzo think Grady Brown deserved to be on our staff, it's not like he had a stellar resume or anything. So far, he has done absolutely nothing on the recruiting trail and its not like he's had some profound impact on our secondary. These are 2 facts so no point in trying to say otherwise and yes I know he wasn't Langley's primary recruiter.

It's about time he starts earning his keep and I hope he puts his nose to the grindstone come Sunday.

Grady is the reason we were in the hunt for Langley in the first place, he is also the reason we have a chance with Keith Bryant. This is his first year as a coach give the guy a break. The only bad game the secondary had in my opinion was Tennessee. They also contained Arkansas pretty well. One guy decommits and now he's doing a horrible job. Grady resonates with kids and will be the reason we land studs in the future.
