I agree. Morris will stay on at Clemson a few more years until a real powerhouse opportunity comes along, something like South Carolina.

"Real Powerhouses" look at coaches with head coaching experience. If a job like TCU opens up, and they offer, it will hard for him to turn down. Even as much as he gets paid at Clemson, they'll pay him a mil or so more, and it will be his program. Add a HC job to the resume.

I think he's going to hold out until his contract exceeds Dabo's. That'll be a first.

He's two years removed from high school, I doubt anyone is ready to roll the dice on him. Plus, word on the street is that the term "commitment" was used when Clemson gave him a raise last year. I'd say we got him for 3 more years and I suspect (for better or for worse) he may be grooming Jeff Scott for the position when he leaves. |

The taters are idiots. No one will be afraid of him because he was at HS. He will be a top choice for lower BCS schools and, depending on who turns jobs down, maybe even the Arkys of the world.

Why would "all of us USC fans" wish Chad Morris to go away? When our defense is hyped and ready to play, think UGA, they are unstoppable. This is the rivalry game. Our defense will be ready for Morris and his offense. And no, Arkansas doesn't want a coach three years removed from high school football. They aren't that desperate. Arkansas is still an attractive school for top collegiate head coaching candidates.
And no, I don't want Morris as our next HC. Nor do I think Tanner will look at him when Spurrier calls it quits. |

I say Boyd goes back on his Krispy Kreme addiction after his upcoming loss to the Cocks. No way he'll be in shape to compete for a National Championship next season...

Hugh Freeze at Ole Piss is only a few more years removed from HS coaching than Chad and is doing a good job so far there. Chad has plenty of coaching experience, especially for a program like TCU.
Regardless of how much Clemsux pays Chad, HCs make more. Plus, he will want that top job which is lined with incentives and TV show money. |

in competition calf roping? Really? National Championship ? In the ACC. As the at Large rep? I'm confused that means that you will win the division and then the ACC championship and accept the Orange Bowl bid and that will become the "it" platform for the # 1 ranked team of 2014. OK let's all check back in 2014 and find out .

If Morris goes to UT or Arky, he may get double his salary than a OC at taterville.
