How do you figure he was a need? If anything, our CB position is loaded. We still have time to grab another CB before recruiting is over. That will be one of our main goals next recruiting cycle, so snag a top CB, and probably a DE.

Our secondary is loaded? We mix/match coverages as much as any secondary in the country, when you take in our safety positions/depth/experience? Ya, I'm concerned losing Langley..

Rico from a knee? Martin from JC, Elder is nproved.. How many have competed on a big stage, healthy? Big time ball is more than Rivals Top 25, especially when you take in your surroundings.. It's the SEC, I want the best, but we have to address our needs..

What makes you think Langley is ready to go in the SEC?

I'm still waiting on the top 10 recruiting class some people say we'll get after winning the SEC east 2 years ago. Haven't seen it yet, recruiting still looks the same as it did before we won it. Apparently 2014 is THAT class according to some on here, seems like we say that every year, but I'll wait till Feb 2014 and see.

It's called depth, & we just got thinner.. From what I've seen he was the best skill guy we had committed, Offense/Defense, & this class is lacking athletes..

Kind of dumb that a thread in the recruiting section closes when a guy decommits. Has nobody ever de-committed and then changed their mind back before?

Why people stress over a guy who never really wanted to be here anyway is beyond me!
You give it your best shot, and if things don't work out, you move on to the next guy! Sitting around whining and moaning, and belittling the coaching staff is a waste of time and effort!

Nah, losing Langley hurts, no doubt about it.
I'm just amazed that he'd go back to a team that originally shunned him, but oh well.

LOL look the guy clearly wasn't that serious about being here. You guys are moping around here like we just lost a proven corner LOL. The guy was a big time player according to recruiting sites never played a snap he might be a major impact player and he might not.
But from the way Georgia has played considering the amount and level of talent they have gotten I'm too worried about him going there.

What about some instate kids such as Chocolate Wilson and Mykal Moody? I think both of them would be ours if we went and got them.

Wilson has academic issues the last I heard.
Moody would be interesting.

I have to say I'm really surprised that more top prospects don't emerge during their senior year. I'm sure there are some out there, but take the CB position for example. Can anyone think of a player out who has high-level D1 offers that didn't have those offers 6 months ago?
And despite what some are saying on this thread, losing Langley is bad. He is a great athlete with good cover skills, and we are very thin on players that fit that description. |
