Just because other teams do it doesn't mean we do it. When Marcus was healthy he still was the only main back getting the ball. Kenny & Mike were only getting 1 or 2 touches a game at best. Spurrier doesn't seem to like rotating RB's.

I could care less what you take. Theres a reason he is arguably the best RB in the nation. Star rating are just that but elite talent is easy to see. Who was the last 5 star RB we got? Other than Marcus, Do you think any of our RB's would start for UGA, LSU, Bama or UF?? (garnet glasses aside). This guy is that kind of talent, how he develops is another story. We shall see.

Yeah well its working for other teams and working pretty darn well. It would also be nice to have depth with all the RB injuries we have so I dont see why it would be out of the question. Carson has played one snap his whole career, Wilds has been hurt all season, Latt injured his other knee and we dont know how/if he is going to return and if he does it wont be until 2014. Now we are down to 5th year senior Kenny Miles who would have been 3rd string to Wilds if Wilds was healthy and true freshman Mike Davis who is very good and has a lot of upside but still makes freshman mistakes.

I kind of thought Wiggins was one of the reasons Langley flipped. Seemed like those two were pretty close throughout the entire process.

Id think they would try to fill Langleys spot with a corner. We have a pile of recievers.

True, but besides Bruce and Ace, who do we have? Byrd hasn't caught a pass since the LSU game, Roland has disappeared, the rest are blah. We still do not have a threat at WR. We have solid players, but no real threat.

I love the fact that you have written off all the guys we have that haven't even gotten on the field yet to show what they can do. But at the same time, act as if this kid still in HS would somehow be automatically better.

Haven't gotten on the field yet? Are you serious? The WR position is wide open for anyone to take. Our passing game flat out sucks, so if the staff see's a player who could be a game changer in practice, I'm sure they would try to get him on the field, but evidently not. Bruce, Ace, and Jones have been the main receivers out there these last few weeks. Doesn't that tell you that maybe the other guys are just not getting it?

It tells me that without rare talent you can't step off the HS field right into a college role. It takes time to work your way in. It also tells me that where are some kids that are probably getting close that they would like to keep off the field for 2 more games so they have another year of eligibility.

What your post, and many of your others, tells me about your knowledge of college football is best suited for the smack forum.

If you don't know the playbook, you won't know what to do. Simply put, Shaq and Shamier don't know the playbook enough yet to be significant contributors.

Ace, Bruce, Damiere, D.L, and Nick have all been in the program for 2 years or more.

Don't say Alshon did because Alshon was a physical freak who got by with natural athleticism.

It comes down to that our QB cannot/does not throw the ball. Spurrier has said he doesn't call pass plays for the QB to run the ball. Whenever a pass play is called its probably 80% that Shaw is going to run and 20% that Shaw will pass. Spurrier JR said he has played DL Moore over Roland a lot this season b/c DL Moore is a good downfield blocking WR. Roland knows the playbook by now, thats not the issue. He just needs an of season to get bigger and stronger. I don't think Roland is a very good down field blocker yet. People thought he was going to fill Alshon Jefferys shoes in his freshman year and had very high expectations for him, but Roland is not as physically dominating as Jeffery.

80% of the receiving corp is Freshmen and Sophomores.

Get off the guys case. We have no proven wrs beyond ace and Bruce.if you don't know the playbook study and learn. True freshmen qbs have started in college football plenty of times and known their playbook. That is a terrible excuse and I'm tired of hearing it.

With that said we have unproven talent at war but I'm skeptical too. Play makers make plays. Guys like Sid / alshon and even ace came in and when they were given chances the balled. They didn't drop wide open balls

Yeah, RS Freshman & Sophomores, meaning they've been here for two or three years.
