I left a comment on the article. I am pissed. There is NO WAY Dabo has done better than Spurrier. It is a JOKE to even think that.

So Dabo has led Clemson to a division, conference title, and BCS bowl - something they hadn't done in 20 years. In those 3 years, Clemson has been DOMINATED by South Carolina (the 5th best team in the SEC over that span) that resulted in a 3 game winning streak.

Clemson did something they hadn't done in 20 years. USC did something AGAINST their rival at the peak of their conference that hadn't been done in 40 years. Just because you win a weak conference doesn't mean you've done a better job when a top level SEC team DOMINATES you.

Spurrier has gotten far more out of his talent than Dabo. Spurrier has set school records and the all time school wins record. We may have 2 straight 10 win seasons for the first time ever. Before that we had 1 total.

You can boast all you want about Dabo and what he has done at Clemson. Quite frankly, Clemson's best performance in the ACC in 20 years has led to domination by their rival. The comparison is absurd.

Low's article was good. As for the other writer, I was annoyed enough with her article and general point of "their record is better so they must be better" and "he won his conference first so he must be better"... and then I got to this gem:

The pro Dabo argument was from the ACC guy. Chris did the SEC argument. No way Chris Lowe would trash Spurrier. Spurrier is Augusta National. Dabo is the Clemson city golf course.

Spurrier should only have one loss against Clemson, 2008. Just a discombobulated team. 2005 all we had to do was stop a 1st and 35, 2007 all we had to do was either get one more first down or stop a 4th and 4. But we've redeemed those losses and will add another big W to our win column and HBC will be the University of South Carolina's all time coaching wins leader. Getting the record against Clemson in Memorial Stadium would be just a classic storybook.
