Stupid article. Duke is going to bring football revenue? Duke definitely fits the mold of A&M and Mizzou. SEC already has the charlotte market, no one watches ACC football exclusively. Duke fans are bama football fans, you get the type.

I think that if the SEC grabs some ACC teams, you will see at least one from North Carolina and one from Virginia. The TV money is too powerful to not have both states. To that end, based on the WSJ poll from a few weeks ago, UVA and VT are a wash. UNC is the clear choice in North Carolina.

I would prefer to not have Duke without UNC. We need the viewership that UNC offers, but to have one of the biggest rivalries in college sports in addition to Auburn-Alabama, etc. would be huge, and it would bring a lot of national attention to SEC basketball.

Generally speaking, I wouldn't be opposed to adding a school that has strong basketball program and an average football program.

UNC is by far the best of the ACC......they'll be off probation by the time they join the SEC.

Exactly right. I think the ACC was somehow hoping the addition of Pitt and Syracuse would keep them above water till they could figure something out....even the ND idea helped, but in the end, the quality of football in the ACC will cause their extinction.

Probably the best bet.

Big 12/10 will probably kill the ACC

big 10+6
Notre Dame, BC, Syracuse, UVA

big 12+4 that needs 6
FSU, Clemson, GT, Wake Forest, Miami, Houston.

The PAC 12 was going after Texas, Okla and Okla St last year.....since that fell though, I'm not sure who they'll go after now. I think now that the Big 12 survived after getting WVA and TCU, they'll go after FSU and the taters.

They tried once before and the Pac12 was having none of that

Boise State's academics are not good at all, thats putting it mildly. They will probably stay/return to the MW.
