You saw DT play well when the staff had prepared him to play well, and less so when he was not.

I am encouraged that DT is getting the bulk of reps this week (assuming thats true), although I'm sure Shaw will be the starter. Just hope we don't blow a half waiting on Shaw's light to come on if he's not performing.

Unless im missing a game, DT played one great defense (Florida) and put up similar stats as Connor. Not only that he was put in a situation where UF knew the pass was coming.

Ill concede the Vandy game though. But he still was put in a bad situation and didn't get any help from his supporting cast.

I think he would fare well if he got a full week of reps and prep with the ones and if Connor struggles or can't play tomorrow hopefully he can come in and play well on the road.

SOS has done well by us when we play mediocre defenses. I trust we'll be ready and am not worried about what or who we're going to run.

Shaw will start but make no mistake that Spurrier wants this one bad so if he doesn't get the production out of Shaw that he expects we will see a change.

Pretty sure what I said was not false. You just went into a more indepth explanation of it. Anyways... I understand DT was in a bad situation vs UF, but so was everyone, including Shaw with the way that game got out of control fast.

Thompson is more than capable of getting the job done. We just dont give a scholarship to average jo so we can fill positions.

If DT plays, lets all try to support him and not jump off the top of the stadium before he takes a snap. Guy is a gamer as well.

define the word meaningful..... playing at home vs ECU and UAB is a tad different than playing away at clemson

When DT has the week to prepare as the starting QB he plays exceptionally well. When Connor gets all the reps during the week but goes out during the game DT is not effective.

...BUTTTT, Clemson HAS a crappy defense, and Dylan made the throws. He hit guys, in stride, where they were supposed to be.

So if the line gives him time, he'd carve Clemson up.
