If we can't drive the ball on that Clempson *cough* defense, then there is a SERIOUS problem! Our oline might be soft sometimes in the SEC, but they would shine in the ACC! Our defense will shut down that high school offense! Bank on it! We've completely dominated every spread offense we faced this year! They will be no different... Trust me

Clemson's defense has got a chip on their shoulder. All they have heard all week long is how terrible their defense is. I have a feeling they will play better then we think. You're only as good as your last game. Clemson played well last week, we didn't.

Your only as good as your record, and we have a nice record in a great conference, while they have a good record in a cakewalk conference. They play cupcakes every week, we play juggernauts! So what they had a decent defensive game against a weak team! Test that defense this week

Clemsons defense had a good game against N.C. State? They gave up 48 points and 600 or so yards! If that's good then I would hate to see bad.

I hear comments like this anytime you have an intense game. For example, something that would be said is "Duke has a chip on their shoulder. All they have heard all week long is how terrible their defense is."

But the bottom line is that there is absolutely no way that Clemson's defense has a good game against SC IF, and it is a big IF, SC comes out and does what it is supposed to do.

Chip or no chip, Clemson's defense is not any good or they would have already played well during at least some games.

Spurrier's game plan will be pretty consistent with what it usually has been and we will score plenty as long as we don't have a bunch of turnovers and catch the ball.

I know this is a very difficult correlation and it is grasping at straws to a certain extent, but I still think it is interesting. If you look at how the day is going, the teams that Clemson has played recently and scored all of these points on, they are not doing very well today..

GT lost 42-10 and it was really 42-3

Duke getting beat 45-38 at home vs Miami (Clemson did not play Miami). And not sure what happened here because Duke did have 52. Must have had points taken off the board. Not sure what is going on in this game. Miami was blowing out Duke, but Duke has gotten back into the game.

VT BARELY beats a horrible Virginia team (Clemson did not play Virginia)

NC already up 14-0 on Maryland and game just started (Clemson didn't play NC)
