I believe Dylan has at least earned the start in the bowl game. He downright played with heart tonight.

Dylan takes hits and stays in the pocket on succeeding plays so that we can still implement the original game plan.

When he has his confidence and more time practicing with the first team receivers, he can really dial in a lot of long throws that are not exactly Connor's bread and butter.

A healthy Connor gives us another dimension that is useful at times but in my book doesn't outweigh the fact that Dylan can march us down the field and make use of all of our tools.

Next year, I could easily see Dylan starting with Connor coming in as relief or a changeup for specific circumstances.

With Dylan, we could seriously move away from the zone/read to the Fun 'n Gun.

Yes, we use ALL of our tools when Dylan is in there. This has to get the receivers jacked up big time.

Yes we do have a QB controversy for next year: But it is a good problem to have.

Connor Shaw will be fighting to take the starting job from DT17 next year.

DT17 will be the starter and Connor will have some special packages to come in each game with as well.

If Connor had started tonight, we probably wouldn't have won. Dylan was making throws Connor just doesn't have.....not a knock on him, but Dylan has a much bigger arm.

Absolutely. With Brendan N. tearing it up in practice, and DT and Shaw being very capable, plus Connor Mitch coming in, surely we can find one that takes us to the promised land with Spurrier.

I was proud of Dylan today, but a healthy Connor Shaw is still our #1 option for 2013, in my opinion. I don't want to take anything away from Dylan at all, but Clemson's defense isn't exactly stellar (it's a bit of a joke, actually). Connor lit them up last year, and he would likely have done the same again this year, if healthy.

I will agree that it's a luxury to have 2 quarterbacks we can win with (hell, we may have as many as 4 that we can win with next season, with Nosovitch and Mitch on the sideline).

But I still think Connor is the man for one more season. I trust Spurrier, either way.

We should, repeatedly Dylan has outperformed Shaw, he opens our offense up SO much more its not really close.

Yes, I heard it mentioned that the nosovitch (sp) is tearing it up in practice. Its a big problem.
