10. They didn't play to win, fearing if they won, that it might ruin their soon to arrive invitation to join the SEC.
9. Dabo and team flew out to Southern California to play by mistake. 8. They would rather have pity sex with sheep than beating South Carolina. 7. All that damn drumming of those cans by their ROTC got them out of rhythm. 6. The Tapirs, I mean Tigers, were told if they beat USC, they would play West Virginia in the bowl game. 5. By losing to Carolina their clever recruiting ploy of early playing time for their recruits would have more impact. 4. Since Clempson so seldom plays at night, they spent most of the time looking at the light standards trying to figure out what they were used for. 3. The players believed if they lost again, this time Danny Ford would really have to come back. 2. Clempson players wre certain if they lost, Steve Spurrier would give them rings with the number 4 on it. 1. The ACC had lost the first three games today against the SEC and they wanted to do their part.
