Recruiting Update- The country's No. 1-ranked defensive tackle has not named a leader and is very careful with his words, as to give few hints. Right now, though, it seems as if Clemson, Georgia and Florida are in the top group with Auburn (because of its on-field struggles) slipping a little. Alabama is another school to watch. He visited the Tide two weeks ago and will be back for the Iron Bowl later this month. After a strong visit with his mother to Georgia this past weekend, the Bulldogs seem to be gaining some momentum. Georgia had a somewhat slow start with Adams, but we're now told the Bulldogs are giving him the full-court press, and Adams is liking the vibe.

Prospect Note- Adams was not in the best shape when the season began. According to his coach, he also wasn't as focused early in the season as he should have been, possibly because of all the attention he has received from outside sources. But during the course of the fall, he has shed 15 to 20 pounds and his focus has returned. The result is that he is now playing his best football.

That article is 2 weeks old...one statement stands out strong here, in regards to UT being a tied leader with UNC for North:

According to North's father, the family thinks highly of the Vols staff and head coach Derek Dooley. Because Tennessee's record is below .500, though, they are concerned about the group's job security, so that is something they are watching closely.

So I would assume that the Vols have fallen quite a bit currently....

According to his father, WR Marquez North of Charlotte has scratched an official visit to Ohio States for this weekend and will instead take an unofficial visit to Clemson. North Carolina and Clemson are the top two at this point for North.

Clemson decided to have a huge recruiting weekend the week they played us. That was a fail, obviously. Now let's see who all came in to watch them get embarrassed.
