College Station is 3 hours from Dallas and there are Aggies all over Dallas and the DFW area. Baton Rouge is 5 hours away. Either way, both are a good fit.

I'd like to see USC in the Cotton, just because it is somewhere we haven't been, playing a better team and is historically recognized bowl, but they'd be foolish to do that.

Cotton typically picks West teams...so I think they would like to take TAMU against a former Big 12 foe.

I wouldn't mind seeing us in the Gator Bowl.

Cotton would love a TAM/UT game. The media would be all over it too. I think we will go to the Outback and play either Northwestern or Michigan.

Huh? Lsu is farther away than a&m so why would lsu be too close but a&m fans can drive but not in one day? Lsu vs texas a&m in 2011 cotton bowl was one of their best granted it was in jerryworld and not the cotton bowl so either woukd be a good fit. I would rather fly into dallas but i dont expect it

The Cotton keeps flirting with us every year but they won't pull the trigger. Not sure how many USC would take to Jerry World.

Not many. Tickets are expensive, and it is a long long trip.

Cotton will almost always take a West team.

Expect either LSU or Texas A&M.

I've said this a million times on here. A&M vs Texas. Been saying it for weeks. Would be shocked if it's any other match up. Granted if Texas keeps losing that could change things. Still a big match up left with K State.

I got a 1 on 1 tour of Jerry World last month. I hate the Cowboys but that is an impressive stadium. Great place for fans.

No one would love to see us in the Cotton Bowl more than me, but I think it's pretty obvious it's either LSU or Texas A&M.

the problem with your analysis is that the Cap One bowl gets first pick and it looks like they want A&M if it doesn't get the second BCS slot. So I'm not sure A&M will be there for the Cotton Bowl because they pick after Cap One. There is a small chance for us in the Cotton but the Outback seems the most likely destination. I would be happy with either because we won our bowl game last night.

I live near Dallas and would love to see the Gamecocks in the Cotton Bowl but I agree that it is unlikely with A&M and LSU being a drive rather than a flight away.
