Gamecocks likely 10th in BCS

I thought we might move up further, but it looks like we only get to 10th. Probably goes like this:

1. Notre Dame, 2. Alabama, 3. Florida, 4. Georgia, 5. Oregon, 6. Stanford, 7. Kansas State, 8. LSU, 9. Texas A&M, 10. South Carolina, 11. Oklahoma, 12. Florida State, 13. Nebraska, 14. Clemson, 15.

If we win our bowl game, we should finish high in the top 10 since you can count on some teams above us to lose.

Didn't Georgia beat Florida, so shouldn't they be ranked above Florida?

This is the BCS which is the computer system. Yes, UGA beat UF but a lot more goes in to the BCS computers than just that.

...But I would take #10 in the BCS

No doubt about it. To finish the season at BSC #10 is fantastic.

Next week is the final BCS standings, after the bowl game we can only move up in the Coaches and AP polls.

Is this your prediction or an someone's actual prediction? How do FSU and Clemson stay that high with their computer rankings that will be in the 20s? FSU computer ranking going into the game against Florida was like 17th.

UF beat TAMU, LSU, FSU (and USC). UGA beat Auburn, Miss State, Georgia Tech (and UF). You'd really put UGA above UF, as if there was a tie to break? lol

In my mind this is about right at this point in time. If we win our bowl game we can finish in the top ten for the second year in a row AND likely will be in the top ten to open 2013.

I think we deserve to be a little higher with our schedule. We're being penalized for our injuries in my opinion.

I think with our schedule and a win over Georgia we should be ranked higher than Stanford but I will still take 10 with a smile.
