Garnet girl, where did you hear this about Jim Tressel.LOL. Tennessee will still suck, as well they should. Dooley got screwed, just like fulmer did. Dooley was only there three years and he had the Offense where it needed to be.1 or 2 more years Dooley would have had Tennessee as a national title contender again

Next year is a good shot for us. Georgia will be our toughest opponent, we face them in Sanford Stadium. We get by Georgia its a clean shot to the Nat'l title granted we stay healthy and our OL plays the way they did versus Clemmy.Shaw has to execute better on a consistent basis though, Shaw has to play every game next year the way he played Georgia and Mizzou. If he can't do that, Spurrier has to go with Dylan.

We should be better next year - Clowney is back on defense and Connor is back on offense along with most of our offensive line so we definitely will remain very strong and maybe better.

we replace our whole starting LB core
we replace DBs like Akeem and DJ whos presence just cant be matched. We have great young talent who have stepped up THIS year still though.

If we can fill those then we have a shot.

Alabama is beatable now, tough but beatable.Tx A & M proved that.Next year, they lose a couple key Linebackers and a key Defensive End. McCarron will also quite possibly leave early for NFL though I havent heard anything about it.

Florida, Georgia, LSU are all big concerns.Vandy is looking better and better every year too so lets not forget them.

In the East you will have Georgia, Vandy, South Carolina, Florida neck and neck up through mid point of season. Florida and vandy will come up short, each with a loss to South Carolina and Georgia in the east. South Carolina and Georgia game will quite possibly determine who represents the east in Atlanta in 2013

We'll have one of our most experienced OL groups under Spurrer next year. I truly think next season will be one of the best offenses under Spurrer's tenure here.

I'm a little worried about the defense next season. We'll still have a great DL but I hope we won't have the same problem Arkansas has had this year with is LBs. They were great players but their inexperience cost them some big plays and breakdowns in coverage. We definitely have the talent to compete as we are going to have a talented young group of LBs but we'll see how fast they get on page with the rest of the defense.

We have a gaping hole at linebacker next year and we had better hope that our recent and current recruits are good enough to truly step up. Missing Shaq is going to hurt big time because of his "football sense" and direction out there.

It appears that we have been more successfull in recruiting OL this past year than I had thought, but we have got to develop consistency somehow. It seems that we rarely get good run blocking and good pass protection in the same game.

We are taking a hit losing Swearinger, Tayor, TJ and Justice, but we will soldier on.

That was supposed to be the case the last 3 years. That projection is only 1 for 3.

I'd say if we beat UGA than we will win the east. There is no reason we should lose more than 1 SEC game if we were to win that game. Florida isn't that good, still top 15 but not top 5, and we get them at home next year. Also we get Miss. State at home rather than LSU or Bama. If we are 10-1 or 11-0, you can bet that the Clemson game will be epic next year.
