Clemson's use of strobe scoreboards on third down

Off topic as well... it's common knowledge that UNC sets off strobing flashbulb effects in the Dean Dome ceiling when the opposing team is on offense

I'd like to know the answer to that, for flashing strobes, scoreboards, etc. should be illegal. It looked very amateurish on television.

For those that weren't at the game and have no idea what I'm talking about, on third down when Clemson is on defense ALL of their scoreboards and ribbon boards show a set of tiger eyes and start flashing colors quickly. Every scoreboard is strobing these colors (I counted 3 boards and ribbon boards all the way around).

It was tough on the eyes after a while.

Yep, it was obvious and annoying, and their stadium security is assinine for not putting an end to it -- although our team did that job for them. :) Strobe lights and vuvuzelas...desperation much?

Stadium security??? What a joke. I don't know about y'all but it took 20 mins to make it through the turnstiles. I told my wife it was b/c of bag checks. NOPE. They didn't even check our bags.

Strobe lights were very distracting and I noticed them too. Definitely would be a problem in the SEC. Also, don't even wanna think about the traffic leaving the stadium any more. It took 2.5 hrs just to get out of Clemson.

Bottom line..Clemson sucks.

I didn't really notice it when I was watching the game live (on tv), but when I was watching the replay later, it was very apparent. I would like the NCAA to step in, not necessarily because it effected Carolina's third down conversion percentage, but just because I would like to have Clemson be publically called out on their childish trickery.

Why does WB not allow us to take in the little mega phones they sell? I bought 2 a few years ago from the trailer that used to be outside gate 9. Other stadiums allow cow bells ect. The little plastic USC mega phones are sold at the game yet we cant use them inside. come on thats crazy. We dont do psudo tricks like orange but come on.
