Unless Spurrier was set on coaching in the SEC, there isn't a reason to believe that, at the time, it wasn't possible.

Is out of their friggin mind. How can you not see what's happened the last couple years? Facility upgrades...top 10 recruiting classes...Division titles...consistently ranked in the top 25...10 win seasons...hiring of top coordinators

These are things we haven't seen since the early 90's. Clemson is on the rise. You can't expect a football program to just go out and win national championships left and right. We're just now getting ready to step and compete with the big boys but it's still a work in progress. This year was just another step and next year will be even better.

Good God...since when did a 10-2 season (with the 2 losses coming to TOP 10 TEAMS) merit calling for the coach's head? Get real people. I'm upset over the losses too, but Clemson is on the rise and will continue to rise under Dabo. Rome wasn't built in a day.

USC, UGA and UF have a pact, I'm sure, that will keep any of those teams from getting into the SEC. Besides, they add no TV markets. USC already gets us all of the SC markets plus Charlotte.

Delusional belief that SC is worst after Sat. night is what has lead to some of the coming storm of wrath from SC fans for the wild, smug coming beatdown predictions ranted by Clemson fans on radio stations statewide over the past 2 months.

Nearly every single Tiger fan was already celebrating the 56\63 to 10 beatdown of SC for the past month.

Stop listening to WCCP, everyone should have seen this coming a mile away...SC lost two games in a three week period on the road this year in two of the worst places to play in college football to two Top 7 teams. They were, are and would always be the better team this year.

And if strolling into the Valley with their backup QB to completely control nearly every aspect of the game and outperform the vaulted Clemson offense in every category AGAIN doesn't make you understand...you do not know football.
