Big Props to the Band

Our Band was awesome. Playing Gangnam Style after the game with all our fans on the field was great. It was also really cool walking behind them as they marched through all the IPTAY donor parking lots down to the busses.

As a member of the band, I cannot begin to describe how awesome it was to play for our fans on the field after the game Saturday.Seeing that, makes the long hours of rehearsal, 12+ hours gamedays all worth it.

Saw on Twitter that the last song they played before leaving the stadium was "Country Roads" by John Denver (Yes, the West Virginia song for you people that hate country music). Nice last little jab

most my family is from West Virginia, and i'm not really proud to say that.

but that is awesome we played country roads after the game.

Wasn't the last, but it was late in the 4th with the majority of the taters still in their seats.

Thought the band did great the whole game and really enjoyed the halftime routine. Even the Clemson fans around me were very complimentary towards our band. Great job Jonboy345 and the rest of your fellow bandmates.

I heard our band LOUD AND CLEAR a number of times throughout the game over the TV - maybe more than I heard the clemmons band! WTG USC band!!

The new white unis the band is wearing now really looks good and shows well on TV...They have really improved over the last 2 years or so...But one question......Why cant we bring back the song...Louie...that we used to play at the beginning of the 4th quarter...That song really got the crowd going and it has a special place in Gamecock Lore...

My sister was at the game and sat a few sections over from the band. She said the band was awesome and had a great time doing all of our cheers, etc. Good job guys, way to take over taterland!

It has been played this year. It was played during the arkansas game and went over completely flat. No one sang along. No one clapped or cheered afterward. It really killed the groove, to be honest, and I was very surprised by that.

The band has been great all year! They deserve their Outback Bowl vacation after all the hard work they have put in all year. I heard they're staying in a really nice hotel on Clearwater beach, are going to Disney and Busch Gardens, and have a nice banquet planned. GO BAND!!!
