When i saw who was calling the game, I was like WTF, #11 v. #12 an we still get a scrub broadcasting crew?! I'm not sure what we have to do to get a decent crew for this game. I guess it just doesn't get ratings worth a shit outside of SC no matter what. Also, Matt Millen has tangibly demonstrated that he knows less about football than just about anyone. How does he get a job commentating on football. Draft another wideout Matt.

I usually don't like to fuss about announcers because many times the complaints do not seem to be legit, but there was a very obvious bias in this game. Tessitore was CLEARLY nonplussed when we made a big play, as if his job was consoling the tater fans, and CLEARLY overjoyed when CU made a big play.

Matt Millen is one of the biggest failures in football, remember he's the guy who took a decent Detroit Lions organization and led them to irrelevancy. So much for his credibility.

I was also pissed at ESPN's line producer when they did not show a replay of Ellington's last TD. That was the decisive play in the game and they decided to show Dabo's facial reaction instead of diagramming the scoring play which they usually do. There was not a single replay. Inexcusable. Just sloppy half-assed game coverage right there.

Most people will tell you that teesitore is one of the better announcers in the business( mostly known or boxing)

I rewatched the game the other day when we weren't yelling at our tv, and the first time I thought millen was talking about our OLINE being the strength of our team. Listening to it without being drunk and with everybody talking, he was talking about Clemons strength of their defense is the speed of their dline. Kinda said it a little jumbled up but that is what he was talking about.

I thought the on-air guys were horrendous. Millen, on more than one occasion, said Clemson got hosed on a couple pass interference calls in the second half. On

Justice was MUGGED a couple times in the first two quarters and no flags were thrown.

STFU ESPN. Those two announcers were terrible.

To be fair this is the only time both of our commentators showed any emotion. Millen apparently enjoyed the hit.

This. Tessitore is one of the best in the business. I don't know if he's spread himself too thin with studio shows and other obligations, but he seemed pretty unprepared and unexcited Saturday night. For a guy who calls chaos on a pretty regular basis, it was disappointing. He had an off night. I'm not going to let that change my opinion of him, though.

Millen, on the other hand, has never struck me as being a very good broadcaster. He kept harping on the OL because I think that may be all he knows anymore.

Re: Gus Johnson...I think he's awful at calling football games. His over-the-top style of PBP works for basketball, but I've watched countless NFL games in the past where Gus just completely overdid it.
