Kiawan Lewis will hold down the other spot opposite Cooper or maybe even TJ Holloman. Diggs should be spur although I think Larenz Bryant has the tools to play spur?

Anyone willing to provide a projected 2-Deep for offense and defense? Obviously we need to see how they guys do through spring/any injuries/fall practices as well but it's never too early to guess i suppose

I see Cann moving to Center and I also think Mason Harris might move to OLB from DE. Also, McWilliams is doing well but I still think he will see most of the time on Nickel packages rather than the two deep. Also, everyone knows I have said from the beginning Mitch will not beat out both Shaw and Thompson as a true freshmen if they are healthy.

I agree with you on Harris.
I think he backs up Lewis...with Holloman backing up Cooper and hopefully we can redshirt all the frosh LBs.
Also, I think Roberts will play spur...and that will be a three-way contest with Diggs and Golightly.

I'm liking the two-headed monster of Davis and Wilds at RB.

As I posted on the earlier thread on this topic, I think Rainey might do well at OLB because of his speed, size, and explosiveness (4.6, 6-3 220, 36" vertical). If one looks at the number of tight ends drafted compared to linebackers, the move would be excellent for his pro prospects if he's got the goods as a defender.
I think Harris already made the move to LB.

Most people consider next year to be "Our best year" considering slightly easier schedule. Clowney will be a beast we get Wilds/Carson back plus Mike Davis and Our Qb play should be improved. We get Vic back and yes hes coming back he posted this earlier, add in McWilliams and some Rs'd freshman should be solid secondary with the only worry being the LB position, who knows how it turns out. We get Ace back and maybe bruce, Kj brent and a lot of other recievers back.

We have good depth at TE even though Justice is the man he will be missed.

All in all i have few worries about next year.

Don't forget Gresham next year, he will be a contributor. Move Sutton to LB, he is quick enough and the Green to DE.

Kaiwan Lewis is pretty much considered a middle linebacker. He is quick, but not likely fast enough for the outside. He will probably add more bulk over the next year. Cooper at MLB would be a major transition, and he has OLB speed.

no dj
no shaq
holloman is gone
no more DT or big byron

We are losing ALOT of players that are responsible for where we are.

Remember Mr. Griffin coming in, he is ready to roll out of H.S. Has the size and weight to play instantely, considering he can grasp the playbook. Also Ronnie Martin coming in from JUCO will get PT. And also Larenz Bryant

We are losing ALOT of players that are responsible for where we are.

I agree but we will see how it goes. I have no idea who would step up as a leader.
