Big East has gotten sad. At least they can say they've added a former SEC member to the conference...

But hey, if the Big East wants to keep going for former members of the SEC, they might as well add Sewanee (The University of the South) as well...it certainly won't hurt the quality of the conference at this point.

What's the point?
No one watches college football in the Norheast and if they did, their two teams went to the ACC and the Big Ten.
And the big east lost it's AQ bid to a BCS Bowl when the playoff starts.

It's my understanding that if you join a conference just for football you have to join a conference in the other sports that doesn't have football
(Example:Temple -Big East and A10, Boise State -Big East and Big West, Hawaii- MWC and Big West, SDSU- Big East and Big West)

Does that mean ECU will not be in the C-USA for other sports?
