If Ward feels the need to leave then let him go. Spurrier has proven to be able to not only replace coaches but upgrade coaches in the process. I have no doubt we'd have coaches lining up to coach Clowney & Co.

I've been thinking this could happen for the last few weeks, and especially after the way we stopped clemzun on national tv. Hope Ward stays at USC a long time, but we all know to well how the college coaching carousel works. Especially in the SEC.

But in the event it did happen, I would say no to Ellis Johnson he shouldnt have left us high and dry b4 bowl game last year. I would offer Brad Lawing the job first, then if Lawing didnt want the job the DLine coach. if dline coach didnt want it, then i say you try and bring back Charlie Strong...yea right but worth a shot

I agree, and with what he's done with the DL when he has the players, why disrupt a good thing?

Lawing is the DL coach. lol.

Brown will get a look if the defense continues to play well/improves, imop (I'm talking about in like 3 years). Ward learned from foster so he might not be in such a hurry to move to greener pastures. He has it pretty good here with basic autonomy and laid back HC who lets him run a lot of the program.
