I can definitely see Kentucky offering. I think Auburn is the longest shot, and Arkansas is just above them.

I think NC State would be a good fit for his offense. Then again, what offense wouldn't be a good fit in the ACC against their defenses?

You need to follow the Arkansas search more. They aren't desperate. They are actually in very good position now to hire a proven winner. Jeff Long has been told he can offer as much as $6 million for a top coach as Arkansas is in fantastic financial shape.

Chad Morris doesn't have a shot at that job

Financially the Hogs are in far better shape than both UT & Auburn. Plus, they are absolutely clean with the NCAA, something UT & Auburn can't say.

He stays at Clemson at least one more year. He has been a college offensive coach for only three years. Being a head coach takes a CEO mentality. A small school might hire him, but I don't see an SEC offer coming. Only schools like Clemson do things like that.
I think he made a mistake Saturday abandoning the run. They were getting yards and Tajh was under pressure and not on target. You take what the defense gives you and we were offering the run.

Here's a killer question -- would Clemson promote Morris over Dodo? The board and the fans must know that the "Wizard Behind the Curtain" for their offense sure hasn't been their cheerleader/real estate agent. With what has happened to Auburn, aren't they going to be terrified at what could happen if Morris leaves and all they have left is Dabo?

Seems to me that Clemson is screwed -- and recruits are going to figure that Morris is going to be in the wind real soon.

First Arkansas and Auburn are not desperate,

Auburn wants Jimbo and he might listen
Arkansas can pay more than we can for a head coach, why would they hire Morris?

Kentucky-- IMO is not worth him leaving, He has said that he does not want his first job to be his last, Kentcuky is not an upgrade and is impossible to win at...

So name me another school that might be worth him leaving? He turned down a HC job last year....NC State might be worth leaving Clemson, he knows that gimick offense works in the ACC and his only competition right now is FSU and CLemsux....

So i challenge you to find me a better job?

I don't see Morris going to an SEC school for his first head coaching job. He best fits in the Big 12 with his type of offense, as it limits the defense from getting rest and quality recruits - most of the spots go to offensive players to get the depth needed to run the offense.
