Stadium Upgrades?

Have they started tearing up the cement around the stadium? If not when is work expected to begin?
Are they doing anything else this offseason?

They host state championships and a few other things in the coming weeks, so no they won't do anything for a while.

It's been posted but it could have changed by know. They'll probably have a more accurate rendering when they are about to get started like with the beast board and FM

-Beastette Boards over at least one ramp!

That's proposed though, and I guess not updated to include the current beast board, but still, gotta love those 2 ideas!

I believe the NEZ project has been put on indefinite hold since the Beast Board has been added (note that it is NOT in the renderings). And the fact that we can't fill the extra seats.

yeah, that's pretty old, so I don't know if they'll still go that direction

the images thrown around earlier this year included brick and gates

The next thing we will do is enclose the area immediately around the stadium...The plan was and still is to enclose the area with columns and 8ft high ornamental fence then add some grass and Palmetto Trees...Also there was talk of having bronze plaques of Gamecock greats on each sides of the columns....Kind of make the whole thing a walk of fame type deal...
