It really matters little to me because no matter who is qb next year unless some young talent explodes at Clemson they aren't getting better.

However, Boyd is about as high as he can get. He had pundits discussing heisman which even though completely unwarranted will hype him. Plus a weak qb class this year. Just guessing but wouldn't be surprised if he went first 3 rounds if combined go well.

I didn't know that Clowney had released a statement on Tajh's future.

Seriously though I can see the O being even better next year if he stays. OL should be improved just losing Freeman. Ford and Ellington can be replaced, they have recruited well there. If Hopkins stays and Morris doesn't leave he'll put up big #'s against ACC D's again next year. But I just don't see his stock getting much higher and it is a weak QB class this year.

I guess that's the reason Clemson coaches are typically the first to offer the big time prospects even before all of the recruiting rankings come out huh? The way Clemson gets in with some recruits is by being the first to offer them. And how would they know who to offer when these players are sophomores and getting offers before any rankings are out? I guess they can evaluate talent. Recruiting is Dabos specialty and is what he is best at.

I hope he stays. Next year we beat Clemson with or without him. In 2014 we have to go to Clemson with no Clowney. Facing a 1st year QB would make things a little easier.
