While the Iowa game sucked...the weather was excellent! I swear I had a tan after that game was over.

I hope people realize a lot has changed since the 1987 Gator Bowl. You all do realize EverBank Field hosted the Super Bowl in 2005 right?

I'd rather play in the lower tiered Gator Bowl against a classic opponent like Michigan or Wisconsin than in the Outback Bowl against Northwestern (yawn).

If we can't do BCS, Sugar, Cap 1, or Cotton, then go to the Gator. I don't get the problem with it. It's a closer drive and we will sale the place out. Plus, we haven't been their in a while. I like Jax and enjoyed our last visit their(except the final score). It would be nice to wash that LSU loss away from the 80's.

Agreed about the Tampa weather. I was drunk and sunburned after that fiasco, but the weather was nice!

wow ITT strong hate for Jville. people its not the 80's anymore lol. there is plenty to do here. u have different areas of the city to stay in which offer a variety of bars restaurants. feel free to message me or any of the other locals if you have any questions. i would like the gator cause i live here and there are plenty of gamecocks in the area. capitol one is ok with me to. i went last year and had a blast. everbank field is a lot better now. there are plenty of places to tailgate as well.

I've never been to the Gator Bowl and would love to have a game with Michigan and their fan base. I could probably do it with one night hotel stay, but would probably do 2 nights to support the bowl/host city.

I went to the stadium for PK years ago. The only thing that I didn't like about the stadium is that it is built right in a neighborhood type area and the traffic is bad.

Traffic is bad at almost any stadium with 70,000 or more seats.

I don't worry about what kind of neighborhood a stadium is in.I'm only going to be there a few hours. Many think the Olympia part of Columbia makes W-B look bad.
