Big test. You never know what could happen. It'd be a huge win if we can pull it out.

Give Frank credit..he scheduled a doozy.
I don't know if we will win this one...but I know our guys will play hard and give themselves a chance. And who knows...we beat No. 1 Kentucky, so nothing is impossible...it will just be very difficult.

this game should be used as a benchmark.
' I know I will happy if it is apparent that the team is competing for all 40 minutes against another good program. unfortunately, i won't be at home to watch it (or the Falcons/Saints)

St. John's isn't that good are they?
I mean, they went 13-19, 6-12 (Big East) last year. It's a tough game, but it is very winnable.

A good measure of our growth, and a chance for the nation to view Frank Martin bring another program up the ranks. Go Cocks!

Agreed, although they have individual talent that will play in the NBA

And I don't think Coach Lavin was on their sidelines much last season. The reason this is a big matchup is because the Johnnies have 1 or 2 NBA guys and Lavin has recruited extremely well. This is a big step up in competition as far as talent goes.

If we can win the battle of the boards and keep turnovers to a minimum, we should be in it at the end.
Gamecocks are a 8.5 point underdog. |

Win or lose, Coach Martin will use this game as a learning experience for us. Finally, some basketball enthusiasm and energy.

Few guys at 6'8 and 6'9, but not huge. Biggest guy is God'squift Achiuwa at 6'8, 230. Should be a good game.
