I say Texas A&M will beat them by more points than LSU. A&M is a really good passing team and a duel threat QB and clemsons passing D Sucks. LSU mainly runs the ball and clemson run D is OK.

If this matchup were to happen, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Clemson were to win. South Carolina had the misfortune of playing LSU in Baton Rouge at night, and the South Carolina hasn't exactly been prolific this year (yes I know there have been some awesome games), so that was a recipe for disaster. Given the fact that LSU has consistently, woefully underperformed against lesser competition (thinking of Auburn and Arkansas), Clemson could very realistically beat them. Now if Clemson were to face A&M, I think they would lose by more than they did in the Orange Bowl.

I agree...wouldn't surprise me at all to see clemson win vs lsu or heck even a&m. Not sure why people are so high on a&m..they beat 1 good team...we've beaten 2. we have the same record and lost to the same teams. They aren't that great and neither are we really. Solid teams but not great

Yep....so he can start getting involved with recruits. Someone said yesterday on another thread that he is a lousy recruiter.....anybody know anything about that. I wonder what all those WR that have committed this year to the taters are thinking now, like Mike Williams.

Why are some of you saying you think the taters may beat LSU. The taters have lost to both ranked teams they played this year....us and FSU. You think they can score on LSU and you think they're defense can stop LSU. Hard to figure that.

But LSU barely beat Auburn and Arkansas, and they gave up a lot more points to Towson than they ever should've. I agree that the LSU defense is stout and could possibly shut down CU's offense the way we did, but I can easily see Clemson putting some really good numbers on the board against LSU too.
