Brenton Williams update?

What's the latest...haven't seen anything on here.

Last I heard, he was released from the hospital and was able to travel back to Columbia.

I didn't see what happened. How did he get injured?

Brenton was driving towards the basket, and things got a little crazy.

It ended up with him going to the floor with a St. John's big man landing right on top of him. The St. John's player smartly didn't move because he clearly recognized that Brenton's neck was hurt. Brenton ended up being taken off the floor on a stretcher after about 10 minutes.

It was scary.

WoW! Sounds like he's ok since he's back with the team. Fingers crossed, anyway.

No over night stay? It really looked bad. The look on Coach Martin's face scared me more than the actual incident. He truly looked sick.

Heard on the Game 107.5 this am that he was moving everything well. That is always good to hear...

Reported about an hour after the game he was moving all his extremities and released from the hospital

Very glad to hear that Brenton is ok.

Impressive that the St. John's player had the presence of mind to realize Brenton could have been badly injured and not moved. I know the tendency is to just try to get right back up and keep going.

Glad to hear Brenton is okay...that injury could have been much worse.

yea I also saw where if BW had not been released from the hospital, Martin was going to stay behind in New York with him.
