WR JaQuay Williams of Fork Union Prep, VA will arrive at USC Friday night for his official visit. Williams involvement with the Gamecocks evolved quickly after his decommitment from Auburn. He contacted the Gamecock staff to gauge their interest and that led to his deciding to visit Columbia this weekend and not Michigan. "He's very interested in South Carolina," said Williams' uncle and guardian Kevin Ofchus of Atlanta. "There's a matrix of plus and minuses like the atmosphere and getting a feel for the school. He'll look at the depth chart, the offense and the staff. Of course, Coach Spurrier is an icon. And there's continuity on their staff, and it's an SEC school. Ofchus said this may be Williams' final visit. He's also been to Georgia and Texas A&M. Auburn, he said, is still in the mix as well. Ofchus said a decision could come soon, as early as Sunday. Williams will finish his work at Fork Union December 14th and will be an early enrollee.

WR JaQuay Williams of Fork Union Prep, VA will visit USC officially this weekend deciding to visit the Gamecocks over Michigan. Williams confirmed his plans to Dawgs247.com. Williams also said he would make a college decision Sunday. He also has visited Georgia and Texas A&M. Williams was committed to Auburn until the coaching change there. He will be an early enrollee.

WR JaQuay Williams of Fork Union Prep, VA is once again a hot commodity after decommitting from Auburn. He initiated contact with USC earlier in this week and he and his coach have been in touch with USC receivers coach Steve Spurrier Jr. Williams is trying to decide on an official visit this week to either USC or Michigan. His coach said which ever one can arrange transportation first will get the visit. Williams has taken official visits to Georgia and Texas A&M.

WR JaQuay Williams (6-3 215) of Fork Union Prep, VA decommitted from Auburn earlier this week and has made contact with USC according to his coach. John Shuman said Wednesday Williams emailed USC recruiter Brad Lawing Tuesday to express his interest in the Gamecocks. Shuman said Lawing may get up to Fork Union this week to visit with Williams. Williams is a native of Tyrone, GA. He has taken official visits to Texas A&M and Georgia. Williams is on track to complete his work at the prep school December 14th and be eligible under NCAA guidelines. Williams had been committed to Auburn since June of 2011 but pulled his pledge after the coaching change there.

One of the major targets left on Clemson's board for 2013 is WR Marquez North of Charlotte. He and his father visited Clemson last weekend and the Tigers apparently made a favorable impression. "It went great, he really enjoyed the visit," Ramando North said. "We met with Coach Swinney and Coach Scott and Coach Morris. We also talked to Coach Pearman. They went over some plays and how he would fit in to their offense. He was excited about it." North plans to visit Clemson again January 11th for the big recruiting weekend. He hasn't decided yet if it will be official or unofficial. Clemson, North Carolina, Florida, Tennessee and Miami have visited with North this week. "He really likes Tennessee but that's on hold because they don't have a coach," Mr. North said. Clemson, North Carolina, Florida and LSU are the others North is focused on.

ATH Mykal Moody of Conway took an unofficial visit to East Carolina over the weekend and loved his time there. "Oh man, it was awesome," said Moody. "I got a chance to meet with the head coach and the players. I really liked it there." The Pirates have not offered but Moody is confident that will change. "They just got involved with me so I just met them," he admitted. "They called and wanted me to come up. I feel pretty good about an offer." Moody also spoke with Miami earlier Tuesday. "I just got off the phone with them about 30 minutes ago," he said. "They want me to come down for a visit. I have to wait for them to call me back because they need to check to see if they have space for me. I'm looking forward to going down there though." Moody is also hearing from Marshall and Texas A&M but is unsure of where he stands with the two schools. He did not name a favorite but did say he would like to take an official visit to East Carolina should have offer be tendered.

OL Tyrone Crowder of Hamlet, NC was at Clemson Saturday for the USC game and will be back for an official visit in January. "He liked it pretty good," Crowder's brother Charles McManus said. "He's visited Clemson a few times." Crowder went with some friends to the game. North Carolina was the only other game visit he made this season. "He was really focused on his season," his brother said. "He wanted to be sure he left it all on the field and had no regrets, be a leader." Crowder will play in the Shrine Bowl and the Under Armour Game. He will schedule his official visits after that with Clemson, Georgia and North Carolina, his final three schools. "All things are equal," McManus said. "Clemson is recruiting him a little harder than most. Georgia is still very interested." McManus said there's one key factor his brother will be looking for on his visits. "He's going to want it to feel like home."

DB Shaq Wiggins of Tyrone, GA is committed to Georgia but will take all five of his official visits. One of those will be to USC. Monday he received a visit from USC defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward. "He came by to talk about my upcoming visit and stuff like that," Wiggins said. "I'm still firmly committed to Georgia but I am looking around. South Carolina is looking pretty good right now." Wiggins has already visited USC and was impressed with what he saw. "Everything is really nice there," he said. "I really like the defensive coaches. Their DB coach (Grady Brown) is really cool and the whole staff is easy to deal with and I love their style of play." He visits USC on January 8th. The other schools he will visit are Georgia, Florida, Texas A&M and Ole Miss. "I don't remember all the dates but I think I visit Georgia on December 6th or 8th...something like that," said Wiggins. Florida and Ole Miss were the other schools he mentioned that were strong with him. This season, Wiggins has 22 total tackles and three interceptions with his teams still alive in the playoffs.

DL Jamar Winston of Dutch Fork has been committed to Charlotte since the summer but interest from other schools continues to increase. He is hearing from Clemson, USC and Missouri. "Coach (Brent) Venebles came by the school to talk to me and told me he really likes me," said Winston. "He said they like my height, size and speed. He likes the way I can move." Winston says he may visit Clemson in the future and feels an offer is a possibility. The Gamecocks have also expressed interest though Winston does not feel it is as serious. As for Missouri, a visit to the other Columbia seems likely. "Their recruiting coordinator calls me all of the time to check on me," he said. "He has come by the school to see me. He told me he will call me to set up a visit." Winston said that would be an official visit. He remains committed to the 49ers but is open to other schools. Winston has 74 total tackles, eight sacks, two tackles for loss, 21 hurries and a forced fumble. His team is playing for the state title this weekend. Winston has also been selected to represent the Sandlappers in the Shrine Bowl.

DL Montravius Adams of Vienna, GA visited Clemson Saturday for the Battle of the Palmetto State. He confirmed that he remains interested in the Tigers and USC. "It was a good game for South Carolina but not so much for Clemson," Adams said. "I still like (Clemson). They played hard." This is not his first trip to Clemson having taken his mother to a game earlier this month. As for USC he said, "I tried to talk to Jadeveon Clowney after the game but I couldn't find him. I like the Gamecocks too." Adams plans to announce his top five programs following his season. "We're still playing right now but it'll probably be a couple of days after the season ends," he said. All five of these schools will receive an official visit from Adams with him likely announcing his decision on Signing Day. He has given indications in the past that Clemson is a strong candidate for one of these visits. Adams has not named a leader.

His blend of quickness, speed and strength along with plus hands and elite ball skills continued to show in 2012, but with added weight and strength.
