You would think that at a certain point though, the sec would realize it is going to eventually be adding teams that do not fit the sec mold and arent that successful in their current conference. Mizzou is already one terrible team the SEC added. If they were to add say Nc st. and Virginia or something that would be two more shitty schools. Eventually by adding these sub par teams they would be depreciating the conferences value because those teams arent very good and bringing much to the table.

NCSU and VT bring TV viewers and cable TV subscribers, which is the most important team. Any not-so-great teams that get added to the SEC will improve due to the money, national exposure, and opportunities to enhance their recruiting and coaching. It has been proven that team that join the SEC improve and teams that join the EZZ regress.

BTW - Mizzou would finish no worse than 3rd in the pathetic EZZ, behind only Clemsux and FSU. No other EZZ team is as good as Mizzou. In fact, only Kensucky would remain near the bottom, but still better than WF, MD, and BC (possibly VA), in the EZZ. Do not forget that the Viles handled NCSU which beat the best team in the EZZ.

Do you really think so? We're already in the same division with two of the three, and I think we're more than holding our own against them right now (yes, we did crap the bed against UF). So are you saying having NC State in our division would make it brutal? I don't see it. Now I agree the east would be one of the strongest divisions, but far from being the "death group" you dubbed it. Also, we're already in the toughest conference, so we shouldn't be afraid of competition.
