Texas A&M has enormously deep pockets, a Heisman candidate (and likely winner), a ginormous fanbase, and has a flashy offense. They look a thousand times more exciting than we do at the moment.

Listen, South Carolina will always have a bit of a marketing handicap with recruits because we are not a big flashy name. A&M brings the heart of Texas into the SEC and that's becoming a lethal combination.

Clowney doesn't do much in terms of Williams...if Williams was a DE or Clowney a QB then I'd agree. Sumlin is telling Jaquay to come play in a pass-happy system, put up filthy numbers, and have a Heisman winner sling you the football.

Texas A&M has a LOT more going in it's favor than most any non-established powerhouse program. They have extremely rich and well-connected alumni (A&M's ties to oil companies are ridiculous), they're updating and renovating most all of their facilities, and their backyard happens to be the most talent-rich recruiting grounds in the nation. A&M is a sleeping giant and now that it's in the SEC they might have just woke up.

It's not a system that he's going to be able to stand out in.. Their best WR is a 6'5 freshman, they have a 6'6 fresh coming in next year, etc.. I doubt he or any of them will put up "flithy" numbers

Texas A&M ain't that flashy of a school or name. Less so than Clemsux even until this year at least. We were ESPN for 3 straight weeks, while destroying the bullpups.

I'd say we looked pretty damn exciting vs Clemson, slinging it for 300+ yards and devastating them on D, but I forgot you are forever the pessimist.

Didnt realize our job was to "overcome" them. I'm not familiar w/ their facilities, but I'd argue we have advantages that off-set some of theirs as well.

A&M has a lot to be excited about, but the West ain't getting any easier. Be interesting to see how they do once Manziel's gone.

They are 2nd and it grows every-year its tied up in oil investments its 1.75 Billion. btw Vandy is #1 in the SEC at 2.3 billion no one else is remotely close

I wasn't happy when I heard A&M was Carolina's permanent West opponent. They were talking how much of a cakewalk the SEC schedule would be before the season even started. I don't they will respect USC that much.
