We stayed at Howard Johnsons and it was nice , we went with the Gamecock club on a charter bus but we rented a car after we got there and had a BLAST !!!!!!!

Found a better place.. Staying at the Comfort Inn&Suites.... close to Hard Rock Casino... $97/Night + Tax.

FYI: Just booked 2 tickets through ticketmaster... Section 336, Row S... sitting on the SEC/Carolina side... near the 50...

They still have some seats in that general area... FWIW

I am trying to find a place now, just ordered tickets. Principal said of course you can go, she is a Carolina Grad, so Im in section 228. Now to find a decent place to stay for a good price.

Prolly staying in downtown, seems to be more centrally located. The team hotel is kind of out of the way of everything. Downtown is 10 mins from the stadium, 20 mins from Busch gardens, 5 mins from ybor city (pep ralley), 5 mins from channelside (ball drop after pep ralley).
