That's what La Tech's AD told Bruce Feldman, but I haven't seen anyone buy it so far (other than the time limit part, of course). Many are convinced La Tech's AD thought they were above playing ULM and looked elsewhere.

Edit: I'm just now reading the quotes from Karl Malone. Wow. Mailman is PISSED.

Edit2: Now reading that some bigwig at LT is vocal about never wanting LT to play ULM again and felt they could do better. So I guess blame doesn't fall in the AD, then, if he was following orders.

I'm as excited about this bowl season as any. I will pick between 5 bowl games to go to this year. Hopefully I can get the time off. Outback is definitely a consideration for me as I wrap up my series with Expedia.

One game I will NOT go to - Northern Illinoise vs Florida State. Holy crap but a horrible BCS match up!

Middle Tennessee went 8-4 and didn't receive a bowl invitation. What happened to a guaranteed bowl bid if you win 7 games?
