NCAA already announced that marijuana rules will still be enforced. Colorado and Washington will be no different. Players may like the idea of going there but they will still get in the trouble with the NCAA if they test positive.

What are the NCAA rules on it? Everytime someone in the SEC gets busted, it is cited as a violation of school policy. That's how you know it's a failed drug test revealing marijuana use; when they the verbiage "violation of university policy". I don't see how that would be within the purview of the NCAA's authority for regulating the athletic competition. Now steroids or amphetamines etc... is of course, their "bag".

From what I understand.....

NCAA has no drug testing policy, as far as how often to test, what the punishments are, etc. Their policy is that if you have a policy that you must adhere to it and enforce it equally across the board. And if they do test they must test using the NCAA's guidelines. There are plenty of things they test for in College Athlete's pee tests that are legal (high levels of caffeine for example) so I don't see the NCAA backing off. The only thing that could happen is that they could stop testing but that won't happen. No doubt we will find out in the next couple of years when a kid gets popped for it and then takes his case to court.

Now 107.5 is now saying that Gus Malzhan is going to be the next head coach at Auburn. Arkansas State's rivals site is reporting it so it looks pretty legit.
