I do believe this class coming in will be his final group he will see through as seniors.
I believe he thinks he has something with Mitch, and I expect WR to be recruited big time in 2014.

I plan on enjoying these next five years...and I think Spurrier has something special planned for us.

Spurrier acts, sounds, and maybe even looks younger than he did circa 2007 or so. Winning is a big part of that.

I approve this extension. Other recruiters love to say things like, "we all know spurrier won't be there much longer," and these extension will give us proof to show them otherwise.

SOS has put too much time and energy to not enjoy it now. He is having more fun now that he has a group of kids that are willing to put in the effort and sacrifice to improve and play as a team. Even he probably doesn't know when he will retire. No time soon, at least.

The way I see it. We were one win away. If we would've beat UF, we would've been in ATL and possibly beat Bama. If that were the case, We'd face ND and Mark May would've gone crazy listening to Lou. The Crystal football would've been in Cola on Jan.8th.

I believe he's at 122 right now. And Bear is at 159. So the difference is 37. They play 8 SEC games a year. So it's possible that he could do it in 6-7 or even fewer years.

You know, if Spurrier is here 4 hears from now, he very well may be around 144-152 SEC Wins. If he's within shooting distance in 2017, I bet he stays on until he gets that record. He'll only be 72.

You know what I like? Last week Miles acted like he was leaving in order to get a better contract. Saban flirts with the NFL. Urban pulls his heart attack thing. All wanting something more for themselves.

SOS is coaching here because he wants to be here and wants to win the SEC as bad as we do. Not for money or fame, he's got plenty of that. He just wants to win.

Think about it, how many schools have that in a head coach?

Naah...as much as he loves golf, winning a competitive round should pale in comparison to winning SEC football games as the HBC. He will stop coaching when he wins the SEC/NC/both.
