Rivals100 Oklahoma City (Okla.) Douglass defensive end Deondre Clark hopes to take some summer visits to LSU, Ole Miss, Alabama, Florida and Texas A&M.

Clark is not naming favorites right now, but he likes SEC defenses and is looking for early playing time in his school of choice.

Clark is a prospect with some good physical tools and could potentially land in a few different spots depending on development, scheme, etc. He has solid height and bulk and looks to possess a good reach with a thick, sturdy build with some room for additional size. He shows flashes of very good first-step quickness but is much too inconsistent, showing just adequate snap anticipation. When he utilizes that initial burst he is capable of disrupting with penetration.

The Top247 defensive end has shed a ton of weight since his sophomore season and actually looked more like a big linebacker playing the defensive end spot. His top list consists of all SEC schools and he will find somewhere to play in the conference, be it either end or linebacker. He is another player with a very quick first step off the ball but also is very strong for his size.

The thing about Clark that stood out at the RCS Dallas was his quickness. His foot speed was too much for most opponents on the day, but he also mixed in several moves to make his way into the offensive backfield. At this point, Clark seems to have his eye on the SEC, but Oklahoma is not letting him go without a fight.
