I would really like Matt to come here... with that said, if he has a change of heart, so be it. Getting a guy like him used to be the highlight of several of our recruiting classes. Now, it's becoming more the rule and not the exception. I certainly don't want him coming here unless he's 100% sure. Either way, our team will be fine and I'll still be proud to be a GAMECOCK!

yeah,but he is a young man that could easily grow into a DE type player and you can bet if he is as good as advertised that it wouldn't matter if we have 25LB's here...the best will play and either your a Gamecock or your not...we all freaked out about Clowney during his final days of recruiting,and he has proven along with many others that if you are good you can do ANYTHING at USC that you can do ANYPLACE else in the country...including UF.

i dont care if we get guys that are wofford talent level as long as they want to be here. these kids need to go elsewhere if they feel led to do so..if we go 6-5 with true gamecocks then so be it. its up to the coaches to make carolina a place that a kid looks forward to playing.

Dr. Guy did his surgey. Dr. Guy is affiliated with the university and does athletic surgeries for our athletics. We wouldn't have done his surgery for him if he was going somewhere else. They firmed him up before the surgery. It wouldn't make sense for our surgeon to fix his knee so he can play for our rival Florida, we wouldn't have done it. GAMECOCK

A member, who I respect, and w whom I disagreed w, declared this meaningless. I agree, Jeff Guy doing his knee means a heck if a lot. I believe growing up a Gamecock & having both parents graduating from USC is equally as important. Dreaming of running through thre smoke to 2001....priceless. The staff addressed his concerns Monday, & if he enrolls @ UF, I'll kiss my own a @@.

The dude wants early pt...we have zero, excluding Cooper, LB s who have sniffed the field. He will not only have the opportunity, he will neeed to play early here.

My final post regarding Rolin...can't wait for USC_9 to wear the G&B.

USC didn't get Dr. Guy to do surgery on Rollin's knee.....that would be a violation. We may have recommended him to Rolin, but his folks footed the bill. At least I hoped they did. If they waited until he was enrolled or at least signed papers with USC, then we could've had it done on USC's tab....

USC has a roster full of torn knees. It is our speciality. We will be glad that Matt Rolin is a gamecock. These kids do heal and come back. He will have some great guys to rehab alongside.
