What's the biggest fight you've ever seen at a sporting event?

I was in death valley for the brawl. That's the worst I've seen in person. The Pacers game a while back was ugly.

I remember a fight at a Capital City Bombers game once that was brutal. I was in line at the concession stand and a loud, belligerent guy who was very drunk was cussing the ladies behind the counter for all he was worth. Bless their hearts, they didn't respond at all but a guy in the adjacent line called the drunk out. Next thing I know the guy grabs the drunk by the neck and slams him backwards and his head cracked the pavement HARD! Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy IMO.

I was also at a Panthers game in Charlotte against the Raiders in 1997, same game Fred Lane broke out with 3 TDs. Late in the game a melee breaks out with panthers and Russell Maryland and Chester McGlockton! Awesome game!!

Well it was the Malice in the Palace, then the next day the brawl in Death Valley surpassed it.

There was one in the Sarge tailgate area by the railroad tracks that was pretty brutal in 04 where a woman beat the living crap out of her boyfriend during the fireworks.

One was yelling and screaming ALL GAME long at a guy two rows down from him (have no idea why). The guy below him finally had enough and told him to "come on down tough guy." Tough guy did, and a hell of a fight ensured, one that spanned three rows and about 5 spilled beers.

In the end tough guy got the hell beat out of him.

This couldn't have happened because the Charlotte Panthers have never played a football game, oh wait...you meant the Carolina Panthers, got it.

Never seen fans all out fight in person, but there was the occasional skirmish in the student section at football games.

Without a doubt after the bama game 2010. This happened right in front of where we were parked. Some USC fans(2 dudes in a truck) were riding up and down Shop road raising hell. They had some words with a bama fan, and the bama fan went after the guy in the passenger seat of the truck. They got to swinging as the USC fan was getting out of the truck. The bama fan clocked him as he got out and dropped him, right at that moment his buddy in the truck hit the gas. He ran over his friend. The bama fan hauled ass, some lady screamed bloody murder and then it was just surreal from that point forward. Some people came and tried to help the guy while they waited on an ambulance, but there wasn't much anybody could do. Pretty much stood there and watched this dude bleed out. So much blood...it was coming out of every hole in that dudes body. Finally ambulance showed up and they worked on him as they took him away, but he was pronounced dead at the hospital. Had to sit there until the investigation was over and the fire department hosed off all the blood and fluid. Sucked. Worst fight ive ever seen at the best game ive ever been to.

I remember hearing about that on the news. Senseless. The driver was charged with involuntary manslaughter I think, but I never heard what happened with him.

Its sad how such a great day can turn into a nightmare.

I think the bama fan was charged actually. They found him and brought him back to the scene...the driver of the truck was just sitting there trying to talk to the cops after running over his friend who is basically just laying there dying. People are standing around watching this dude die. Then we had to sit there for EVER because we were inside the police tape/crime scene. One of the cops on the scene was a huge dick, drunk fans were stumbling by after the fact just walking through the crime scene oblivious that some dude had just died there. weird night

The first USC game my wife ever attended we witnessed a fight in the parking lot. Two guys, who both had way too much liquid courage, pinned themselves in with doors of two trucks and started throwing fists. I hate that crap.

Best fight I ever saw was after the Florida "blackout" game. We parked behind the stadium in a small gated lot. Two USC fans get into a shouting match, one of them is completely wasted (we will call him Wasted Guy) and can't really stand up straight. The other seems completely sober (Sober Guy). Wasted Guy swings on Sober Guy. Sober Guy pushes Wasted Guy and he falls down and gets back up after about 3 seconds. Wasted Guy yells "how are you going to push your little brother like that" and swings again. Sober Guy pushes him down again. Wasted guy stays down for about 10 sec this time and gets back up and gets in sober guys face again and swings and gets knocked down again. This time he stays down around 20 seconds. Sober guy stands over him and says "if you swing again, I'm knocking your ass out". So, Wasted Guy gets back up pushes Sober guy and backs up. He is in the full fledged Karate Kid part 1 crane stance now. (This crap is getting real now). Sober Guy takes a few steps toward Wasted Guy and and Wasted Guy goes for the knock out kick. The only problem is Wasted Guy forgot to compensate for the wind and the earth's rotation and ends up missing the kick completely. He kicks hard enough that he loses his balance and ends up landing flat on his back. Sober guy walks over while he is laying there and grabs him by the back of the head and lifts it up a little (Karate Kid 2 Mr. Miage "live or die man?" style, except he didn't honk his nose) and blasts this kid. It was the loudest punch I have ever heard in person. Wasted guy decided at that time that it was a good time to take a nap and went to sleep. Sober Guy motions over to one of his friends to help him load Wasted Guy into the back of the Explorer they were driving because he would be more comfortable sleeping there than on the ground. They load him up and about 3 or 4 other people get in and they drive away. That was the best fight I ever saw at a sporting event.

Back when Greenville had the minor league hockey team called the Grrrowl I remember attending a game where a fight went on for 10-15 minutes. It was a benches clearing and pentalty box clearing brawl with the Pee Dee Pride. Those teams hated each other so much and it was an epic fight. Greenville's best tough guy was in the penalty box and I remember him pushing the official in the box aside and skating back onto the ice to defend his teammates.. so freaking awesome.

In game - Carolina vs. LaTech in early 90s. I remember Willie Roaf being a big (pun intended) part of it. Something in the air that day, cause as we walked in just outside the west gates two ladies were literally rolling around fighting over a ticket. That's passion when your women fight over LaTech tickets...lol!

Outside would be two in the fairgrounds post-game. One was an older man who had been over to our spot before the game and seemed harmless. Long story-short, as we walk back to the truck post-game he's literally beating the sh*t out of some college-aged kid a couple spots over...not sure why. The second one, I'm ashamed to say, involved me and a family member of a prominent politician. I'm not fast but I ran from the fairgrounds grandstand to Jaco's in about 7 secs once the police arrived. Not fun.

I remember being at panthers stadium in charlotte and this drunk guy was running up the stairs and accidentally spilled beer on a woman in the stands but kept going her boyfriend went after him asking for him to come back and apologize to her..but the drunk guy refused and before you know it everything escalated and they started brawling..couple of bloody lips was all that happend really but it was a good fight.
