Police: Woman Crashes Car While Shaving Bikini Area


KEY WEST, F.L.--Investigators say a woman is facing charges after she crashed her car while she was trying to shave her bikini area.

Troopers say 37-year-old Mariah Barnes was en route to meet her boyfriend in Key West but she wanted to make sure she was properly groomed for the visit.

According to the police report, she asked her ex-husband, who was the passenger in the car, to hold the wheel while she shaved. Her vehicle ran into the back of another vehicle a short time later.

Troopers charged Barnes with driving while license revoked, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident with injuries and driving with no insurance.
