That's an interesting quote in that it seemed FSU was leading but then he says he doesn't know for sure if he'll visit there, but he is visiting here. Need to really impress him while he's here, and I would think we can. It helps that he's coming on one of our biggest recruiting weekends.

Dude, I didn't lay into.the guy saying Elliot was why he comes or goes to UF bc I.didn't feel it was necessary. Here is the deal.1. Parents went to Carolina 2. He dreamed of playing here, 3. He has gamecock gear he wears everywhere, 3. He has as good of a chance as anyone to play bc we have zero experienced LBs, 4. Farrell is a clown who creates controversy when there is none, 5. He is la God fearing man of his word, 6. He has recruited for us since committing, 7. He is PROUD to be a Gamecock ( USC_9 on twitter), and 8. He doesn't play games, just visited a school....straight Gamecock tweets & even retweeted my little motivational tonight.

We want kids who want to be here & he does....either he remains a gamecock or will RS @ UF & struggle to.find a spot on the two deep after they bring in another LB heavy class. The East is ours next year if we handle the Gators in Columbia & he wants to play beside one of the SEC's greatest players....OF ALL TIME ...#7.

So, if he isn't in school this spring, something very strange , & likely a NCAA violation, has happened.

It is a big deal, but it doesn't mean you can't have a "good football tradition" unless you win a lot, which has what we have been doing a lot since Lou Holtz's second year in any event. In case anyone is wondering by my math we are 98-62 starting at New Mexico State in 2000. Not bad considering what conference we play in and the division.

All good points didn't mean annything negative towards you or anyone else. Just pointing out that sometimes what is or at least seems to be the most logical choice, isn't always the decision that's made. Honestly I'm pumped about the retweet. That rocks more fuel to the "he's a cock" fire.

If we get him in on an OV we at least have a solid chance. From what I can see he is extremely open and no one really has a major advantage which favors a team like us who is becoming a serious contender for him late in the process. His recruitment should be interesting.

What makes you think we're a serious contender? He may be interested in a visit, but I haven't seen anything posted that states we're more than a passing fancy. I'd love to get this kid, but it sounds like he's only mildly curious.

Not mad or upset at all.. Sorry if I came across that way. I do, however, care really about the program & our future success. Rolin & Bryant are the two recruits we really can't afford to lose (considering they will come in w as many reps @ LB as anyone on the roster ).
