I don't know about other Steak and Shakes, but I worked in Rock Hill this summer and ate at their Steak and Shake..the food was great, but I couldn't help but to feel like I was gonna have a heart attack, due to the fact that every waitress in the Rock Hill Steak and Shake is 250+ pounds.

For pizza....there is a place here in Columbia on Hardscrabble Road called Marco's...absolutely my fav place now for pizza...

There is a Marco's here and it is fantastic. Very, Very good food especially the sandwiches.

Speaking of great pizza, CL, if you ever get to Sumter there is a small place on hwy441 near hwy378 called Sambino's. the special combo pizza has some of everything and is SO freaking good! And I am not a big pizza eater...

that sounds really good...i'll have to remember that. There was a Greek place in Sumter that a friend of the family's brother ran...his last name was Karvelas...can't remember the name of the resturant

Palmetto Pig is the bomb... always seem to overeat though.

Some other really good places I enjoy are Russo (down off of forest dr in Cola) and Gruby's NY Deli in Hilton Head Island and another location right by Sun City.

Oh, and perhaps my favorite restaurant is a place called Sweet Basil (thai food) which is up in Greenville, SC, by the pelham rd and HW 14 intersection.

Seafood - Original Crab House - The One On The Ashley River under the drawbridge going toward Folly Beach. This one is better than the other two in the Charleston/Mt. Pleasant area to me.

Bar-B-Que - Carolina Bar-B-Que in New Ellenton, SC - $8.50 Buffet and that includes tea and dessert. You can't beat the taste of the Que and the hash and rice is awesome.

Wings - The Wing King in Rock Hill on Oak Ave, over by Winthrop. Best wings around and I have eaten them all over SC and GA and these are the best. Clowney goes in here and eats when he is at home.

I have eaten at the Dutch House in Abbeville, SC and the one in Blackville, SC and they are both pretty good, but there is one in Wrens, GA on Hwy 1 just outside of Wrens that is the Best Little Dutch House around. They also have a bakery attached to it and they sell the best sweet stuff here too!

Steak - As bad as I hate to say this, there is a little small country restaurant just off Hwy 25 in Keysville, GA that serves up the Best Ribeye and Filet that you have ever put your teeth into. I did not believe this until I drove out to the place. It will make you "slap your mama" as it is an awesome steak. Located just past the Applewood Golf Course. Not much to look at from the road and yes they have that gosh awful Jawja Bullpuppy junk on the walls, but the food makes up for the scenery and the old gentleman that runs the place is a class act. About 30 miles outside of Augusta, GA. I always wear all of my Gamecock Clothing that I can when I go there.

I do enjoy eating at Rushes when I am in the Columbia area as they make a good hot dog.

Well, I lied to my CT brethren. I said I didn't do buffets. As I was sitting in Sweet Tomatoes yesterday waiting for my daughter, it dawned on me that it is a buffet. A salad buffet. I've been there several times. Therefore, I do buffets.

Vegetable Medley in the Oak Grove area just off Hwy 1 in West Columbia is really good. They have a buffet and the best country steak around.
