I mean, the fact that a defensive player has never won it makes a pointless award. Just go ahead and make it the offensive player of the year. Its ridiculous.

This is exactly right....it's just like the polls, a popularity contest. A committee of 20 well chosen people should decide. Half the people on this board know as much if not more than many of the current voters. Why will Teo win, ND....in reality, he's not even in the top 100.

I think Johhny Football wins it this year. A lot of times defensive guys get lots of props, but how many times has one actually won it? All the publicity this year will help Clowney next year.
My own personal opinion is that Tavon Austin should win it this year. He just scored on klimpsun ...AGAIN!
